A Tribute to Johanna

Born in Belleville, Ontario, Johanna grew up in Garnish, Newfoundland after moving there in May 1988 when she was less than two years old. Throughout her short but busy life Johanna loved children and believed that in life you must feel good about yourself and have fun. After completing High School in Marystown, she attended Burin campus of the College of the North Atlantic, graduating from the Hairstylist program in May 2005.

Johanna's Day Spa for Kids

It was her dream to eventually open her own Day Spa, this is now a reality with the building and dedication Johanna’s Day Spa For Kids in her memory. Johanna and her grandmother Alice Noseworthy died tragically in a vehicle accident July 2, 2005 after spending Canada Day in Garnish.
